[NO BUG] Longer Delayed Triggers Holding Gate Open
#1
Hi

On the More Triggers expander, if a delayed trigger is set to a value higher than 5ms, it seems to be holding the gate open, rather than just triggering a delayed gate (e.g. 10ms post the trigger etc)

This is when triggering from within a trigger 16 track.

To Test: Make a new pattern, set a track to trigger 16 and try delayed triggers greater than 01 ( e.g more than 5ms).

Cheers

It is a delayed gate, not a trigger. It stays open.

Ahh doh!

(facepalm)

Was trying to use the delayed gates (assumed triggers) to allow me to nudge triggers off the grid.

Would it be possible to have this switchable, so they could be triggers instead of gates?

I had some plans for this but didn't make it yet.

Nice one, thanks.

Really want to make the Nerd my second beat machine but due to other gear, can't really have it as master midi clock (and thus use master clock shuffle)and the 7/5 tick way of shuffling can be too strong a shuffle for faster tempos.

I know you can kind of hack more precision via setting ticks to 13/11 or 19/17 and then speeding up the track clock but figured 5ms nudges would actually be more than precise enough in most situations and still provide all the flexibility of switching track clock speeds afterwards.

Shall I add it to a feature requests thread?
