Hi there,
It seems that this error is not mentioned on this forum according to the search tool. It is happening regularly, every now and then, if I'm using the sampler. This error has popped up 3 times so far, in the middle of a jam session. It's not disabling my work so far.
Is there anything I need to do if I want to avoid it?
I have no extensions hooked up at this stage.
Cheers!

Hey mate,
I have updated the OS to latest in date after I posted. I have not witnessed any replication of this error. Actually, I disagree with calling it screen of death, because your clever code saves the program automatically before we get hands off.
Do you know why, once, Windows had the blue screen of death?
It's because Homer Simpson himself, back in the days (talking Win98 here) was one of the main coder at Microsoft. And sometimes (actually rather often) he would drop some donut crumbs in the code. Acually no idea how they fixed it but, indeed no more blue screen of death in Windows. I acually plaid live once (lucky it was only a small night club) and I had that bug right in the middle of my set!!! (Lucky I had my good faithfull Roland R8 with it's own clock so I managed to catch up, the dancers loved it!!!)
Anyhow. I will update this thread, accrding to your recomendations, if the ghost comes back to haunt my home jams.
Thanks for replying.

Oh I am so sorry to hear that it failed also within your set. This is also the worst case scenario for me.
You probably fixed it with the update indeed since they have been issues with samples in the past which has been fixed.
So let me know for sure when it happens again...and if not, thats the way how it should go.
...preparing some more donut crumbs for the next firmware :-)
PLEASE use the search function if something have been asked or discussed before.
Every (unnessesary) forum support means less time to develop! But of course, i am here to help!

This very donut crumb has hit us circa 1999, when I got lazy and used windows 98 in a live situation (OUCH!)
Hence BSOD, nothing wrong with that very bug my friend.
