Note placement - Cocosunshine - 10-01-2025

I asked chatgpt for better placement of my melody notes in nerdseq, this is my first attempt at it.

And do they sound as advertised?

Yes kind of, Funky syncopated is interesting but sounds a bit weird to my ear in some parts, I would move some placement maybe? The relax Laid-back is ma favorite, I will leave it like this on the placement but change the melody. I found the energic one to be a bit on the beat, but sounds more energetic. I think it help me to start tracks, at some point I will get better at spotting placement naturally for groovy feel.

I did some new experiment with this asking Ai to make more sequences. this time more continuing melodic sequences. Inspired by Tangerine dreams I was listening yesterday.

Ai made me a mp3 preview of the sequence before I wrote it in Nerdseq. Changing the Scale in Nerdseq is very cool to change the melody on the fly. copy pasting the pattern to make a quick changes on few notes to scale the pattern to 64 steps.
I made a mini album with my result with the Piston Honda has a voice.
