It's "cuepoint", not "queuepoint", unless we have to line up - kattefjaes - 03-06-2023 Hi, This one is very low priority as it doesn't harm performance at all, it's a spelling/homophone bug ![]() I noticed in at least one place (I think the Project screen, but there could be more), it talks about "live queuepoints". This is wrong and drives me nuts whever I see it. A "queue" in English is an ordered line, think of a FIFO. A "cue" is a prompt or timing marker. An easy trick is to remember old tape decks with "cue" and "review" over fast forward and rewind keys. Yes, I know, English is a confusing mess, it's full of traps like that. As a native speaker, I can only apologise- a lot of my more careless compatriots also make the same mistake. https://grammarist.com/usage/cue-queue/ ..if you'd like chapter and verse. I haven't bothered with screenshots, as I suspect that'd be insulting your intelligence, but if they'd actually be helpful, please let me know. This feels like a really weird bug report, but it is probably the first thing I actually dislike about Nerdseq, which is generally a beautifully-engineered device. RE: It's "cuepoint", not "queuepoint", unless we have to line up - XORadmin - 03-06-2023 Ah hahaha... You don't know, but this is old news. If you could see what I see (V1.28) then they are no 'queue' points anymore :-) I am just a german who tries to do english stuff :-) RE: It's "cuepoint", not "queuepoint", unless we have to line up - XORadmin - 03-06-2023 (03-06-2023, 05:28 PM)XORadmin Wrote: Ah hahaha... And to be more precise: Fixed since January 12th
RE: It's "cuepoint", not "queuepoint", unless we have to line up - kattefjaes - 03-06-2023 Oh, I could swear that I am on 1.28, too. I will go and check, and if I am not, I shall update and glory in it. And then come back here and admit it so you can point and laugh ![]() I know you're "just a german" - this is why I feel like I should apologise for what a complete hack job English is, it's worse than perl! RE: It's "cuepoint", not "queuepoint", unless we have to line up - kattefjaes - 03-06-2023 Ah ok. 1.27c it is indeed. Well, thanks in advance for the fix, that's perfect. Whenever I see the mistake now, rather than being annoyed, I shall just look forward to the new firmware
